A growing local platform for the town we live in.

Swords Live is being built here in Swords, Co. Dublin.
The aim is simple: bring the most useful parts of the town into one place and make them easier to understand.

The platform is modular.
Each module focuses on a single everyday task.
Together, they form the early foundation of a local model of Swords — how the town moves, how conditions change, and how people interact with local services.

Everything is built gradually and guided by real use from the community.

A clean, localised weather view for Swords, focused on quick, practical decisions.

Swords Homes

A unified view of listings from participating local agents —
a simple starting point for seeing what’s available around the town.

Swoop – Civic Reporting

A straightforward way to send reports about issues in Swords,
helping make signals clearer and responses faster.

Sord — Local AI Assistant

Sord is the conversational interface to the Swords model.
It handles local questions across transport, weather, and property,
and improves as the community uses the platform.

How Swords Live Evolves

Swords Live learns through everyday use.
When people check buses, view weather, send Swoop reports or ask Sord questions,
the system receives anonymous interaction signals that help refine how it understands the town.

When identity is needed — such as for sending a report —
it is used only for that clear purpose.

The principle is simple:
anonymous by default; identified only when helpful and always with context.

To recognise helpful contributions, the platform includes a participation credit system.
Residents earn credits for improving data quality or contributing meaningfully —
a small way to highlight contributions and guide future development.

Over time, these modules and signals build into
a town-aware system that becomes more accurate, more useful,
and more insightful the more it is used.
This is the long-term foundation of Swords Live.
